ORTHOKERATOLOGY
ACCESS TO ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY - Myopia Control
One of the key products offered by VSquare's partner, GLOBAL ORTHOKERATOLOGY VISION, is the GOV Orthokeratology lenses, which are designed for children for Myopia management.
Orthokeratology, or ortho-k, is a non-surgical treatment that uses contact lenses to reshape the cornea and improve vision. Ortho-k lenses are worn overnight and can correct near-sightedness (myopia), far-sightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and presbyopia.
PATENTED DESIGN FOR BETTER CENTRATION
The GOV XMJ & XM lenses incorporates USA patented design which enhances peripheral steepening with Aspheric allignmnet zone for better centration. GOV lenses can mold till -10 Dsph and above cylinder with correction upto -4 Dcyl.
UNIQUE "S" CURVE DESIGN
The unique XM curvature groups substituting the fitting zones and enhance peripheral inward pushing force, therefore results in shaping the midperipheral portion of the cornea for "S" steepness that is much steeper than any other design of Orthokeratology.
STRONG MYOPIC DEFOCUS
GOV induces higher midperipheral steepening which is usually 2 times of central flattening, thus ensures long lasting inward focusing during awakening hours.
MYOPIC CONTROL - MYOPIC DEFOCUS
Peripheral defocus Theory - Myopia Progression is related to peripheral defocus (off axis 30 degrees) image. It is irrelevant to fovea (on-axis) vision!
Emmetropic Children Have Myopic Defocus
Spectacle Lenses Increase Peripheral Hyperopic Defocus
Orthokeratology Induces Myopic Defocus
TUNG'S THEORY OF MYOPIA CONTROL
PVS® ( Preferential Visual Span ) enables para-fovea reading When para-fovea focuses being much clearer than the fovea for near vision, the superior image may draw attention to the off-axial locus for reading comprehension.
